The day 11th 0f October marks the date of birth of one of the finest stars produced by the country in the field of cinema. The Shehenshah of Indian movies, Amitabh Bachchan, celebrates his 75th birthday today as all his prominent stars in the cricketing fraternity poured in their wishes for the veteran.

Big B has been part of a plethorical amount of blockbusters through the ages starting from the 1970s until the present day. One thing which has been constant throughout the five decades of the acting career is his dedication, professionalism and superstar status.

Amitabh has provided us with back to back blockbusters such as Sholay, Coolie, Hum, Ajooba, Shehenshah, Amar Akbar Anthony, Deewar, Zanjeer, Shaan, Namak Halaal and many others. These movies ranged from action to thrillers to comedy and romance, which depicts the diversity and versatility of the emperor of Bollywood.

In the recent years, he has continued to deliver phenomenal acting performances in critically acclaimed movies such as Piku, Pink, Paa, Wazir, Te3n and several others. Also, he expanded his horizons in featuring in Hollywood movies such as Great Gatsby alongside iconic actors such as Leonardo Di Caprio.

In aggregate, he has featured in as many as 224 movies throughout his career. Bachchan is also a champion when it comes to Television as he ruled the audience with his game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.

His longevity and commitment is an inspiration for one and all including the cricketers in the country. Amitabh Bachchan, against all odds, retained his star status in spite of being broke and bankrupt at one point in time, to create one of the most spirited comebacks from ruins. Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Virender Sehwag and many others joined in to wish the master of celluloid on his special day.
