PSL 2018: 5 Pakistan players who might get a national call-up
Bowlers have thoroughly dominated the PSL this year.
5. Mohammad Sami
The fifth and last person on this list is yet again the bowler. Mohammad Sami, who is a veteran fast bowler was around for quite a while but didn’t get to play as much as he would like for Pakistan. Sami made his Test and ODI debut in 2001 and consistently bowled over 145 KMPH. However, he sprayed the ball all around making the life easier for the batsmen and resulting in him being axed. Sami last played for Pakistan in the T20I WC 2016.
Currently, he is plying his trade in the T20 leagues around the world. At 37, Sami’s express pace still remains and can take the batsmen by surprise. This is what he exactly did in PSL this year as he picked 13 wickets in 11 games ending up as one of the leading wicket-takers. Although the age is not on his side, he would still fancy making a come back taking players like Misbah Ul Haq as inspiration. His experience would be very useful for Pakistan in the World Cup 2019.
