The penultimate league clash between the Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans was a crucial game leading up to the business end of the league. Multan Sultans came to bat hoping to dominate and ensure a good opening partnership. However, Lahore Qalandars had different plans. Opening the bowling for Qalandars, Shaheen produced a perfect yorker to get rid of Moeen Ali.

Pitching at the perfect length showing a hint of movement, the ball crashed into the middle and off stump. Giving the Lahore Qalandars a wonderful start to the match. Shaheen completed the first over giving away just two runs. The early breakthrough is very much important to any bowling side. That too a wicket of Moeen Ali was just a cheery on top of the cake. Ali can easily take the game away from his opposition. Hence it was crucial to pick him early. It was an unplayable yorker from shaheen that did the job.

The left-handed fast bowler is ruthless in his bowling. Showing no mercy to the batsmen he can intimidate and get into the minds of the opposition. His personality is a bonus to his efforts. He can deliver the ball at a greater height making the stay of the batsmen at the crease much harder.
