Bhuvneshwar Kumar was a part of the RCB franchise from 2009 to 2010 but never played a match for the side. He was picked as an uncapped Indian player by the newest- Pune Warriors India and was one of the shining lights in the franchise.

Meerut’s right-arm pacer was an integral part of the team for all the three years and played 31 matches for the franchise. He picked up 24 wickets with an average of 30 playing for the Pune based franchise. He also scored 93 runs for the team.

Later, he was bought by Sunrisers franchise ahead of the IPL 2014 and he won the Purple Cap twice playing for the Hyderabad based franchise. He played an important role in the franchise’s 2016 IPL triumph and is a key member of the franchise till now. He has also been leading the Indian pace department in limited overs cricket along with Jasprit Bumrah.
