Punjab T10 Cricket League: Squads, Schedule, Timings, Live Streaming and all details you need to know

Though there’s still sometime before the national team returns to the park, cricket in India is all set to return amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The Punjab T10 Cricket League will be taking place from June 15 to June 30. The teams will lock horns in a total of 33 matches to be played over 16 days.

The six teams, participating teams in the tournament are Patiala Panthars, Firozpur Falcons, Moga Mongoose, Ludhiana Lions, Amritsar Alligators and Bathinda Bulls. The squads for all the teams have already been announced along with their captains. Each squad has a total of 14 players.

The trials for the tournament took place on June 1 at the 10 Sports Club in Bathinda. As per Balwinder Kumar Sharma, the tournament organiser, the league will take into account all the precautionary measures, including social distancing and avoiding usage of saliva to shine the ball.

There won’t be any kind of celebrations either. Thus far, Punjab has reported around 2,890 positive cases of COVID-19 with 59 people losing their lives. Around 2,260 persons have recovered though.
