PV Sindhu spotted in the stands cheering for Sunrisers Hyderabad

Indian Premier League is kind of a festival in India. All the superstars around the world give this tournament a visit and support one or the other team. The tournament has been immensely successful and surpasses the expectations every season.

There are several Bollywood superstars who support respective teams just like Abhishek Bachchan was seen cheering for his home side Mumbai Indians, there are also various sports personalities who do the same as well. Today there was another superstar amongst the supporters, it was the badminton sensation PV Sindhu.

Sindhu was donning the orange of Sunrisers Hyderabad as she was seen cheering from the stands of the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Sindhu recently enjoyed a good run in Indian Open as she defeated her rival Carolina Marin in the final. However, the Spaniard got her revenge in the Singapore Open when she got the better of Sindhu in the quarter-finals itself. Sindhu was defeated in straight games as she lost the match by 11-21, 15-21.

Sindhu is one of the highest earners when it comes to sportspersons. She currently earns more than the likes of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and sits pretty at the second position in the list of highest earning sportspersons. She is only second to the current Indian captain Virat Kohli. Sindhu is enjoying a break after a long season of badminton and that explains her visit to the Indian Premier League. The Twitter handle of the tournament was quick to spot her and tweet about the same.

The IPL handle tweeted, “Champion shuttler @Pvsindhu1 is in the #IPL house #SRHvDD @SunRisers.” Along with a photo of her smiling and enjoying the game between her team Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils.
