'Quarantine can do this' - Shoaib Akhtar takes a sly dig at Saqlain Mushtaq's make up video
The 43-year-old, on Wednesday, shared a hilarious clip on Twitter where he was given a complete makeover by his daughter.
The coronavirus outbreak has compelled the world to come to a standstill and the pandemic has taken a toll on human existence. More than 80,000 deaths have been registered across the globe and everyone has been advised to stay indoors to battle the pandemic.
The cricketing scenario has also been halted by the pandemic as all major matches or tournaments have either been called off or postponed in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak. Meanwhile, cricketers are left with no choice but to spend their quarantine time on social media. Several cricketers have shared funny clips and have interacted with their fans on Twitter or Instagram in their idle time.
Former Pakistan spinner Saqlain Mushtaq has also been spending his quarantine time with his family. The 43-year-old, on Wednesday, shared a hilarious clip on Twitter where he was given a complete makeover by his daughter. Along with sharing the clip, the Pakistan stalwart also urged his followers to stay indoors in such a crucial situation.
Mushtaq stunned his fans by revealing his new look in the video. In the video, he can be spotted wearing a wig and makeup which was done by his daughter.
“We all are in quarantine. Stay at home, stay safe, look beautiful and enjoy with your loved ones,” tweeted Mushtaq on Tuesday.
“Couple of years back, she did my makeup and I put a video up on Twitter which you guys liked. Today she told me that she wants to play with me and gave me a new get up, as you can see,” he said in the video.

Reacting to the clip, former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar took a jibe at Mushtaq and tweeted that quarantine is capable of doing this to a lot of people. The Rawalpindi Express took a sly dig at his former teammate and shared the spinner’s video with a hilarious caption on Twitter. “Quarantine can do this to a lot of people. Here’s the creator of ‘Doosra’,” tweeted Shoaib Akhtar.
Mushtaq is regarded as one of the best spinners that Pakistan has ever produced. In an illustrious career spanning over 49 Tests and 169 ODIs, he scalped 496 wickets in total. The creator of ‘The Doosra’ has suggested everyone to stay at home as the current situation in Pakistan remains severe. So far, Pakistan has witnessed over 4000 positive cases and 63 deaths have been registered in the country.
