The 10-year challenge has been quite a trend for a while now. Right from the celebrities to common people, everyone is taking up this challenge and reminiscing where they were ten years ago. It is a way to indicate how much of a progress a person has made in the last ten years. Pakistan cricketer Rumman Raees also took up this challenge only to get brutally trolled by the junior Rameez Raja.

Rumman was a part of the ICC Champions Trophy winning squad. The 27-year-old has represented Pakistan in 9 ODIs and 8 T20Is till date. He accounted for 14 ODI wickets and 8 T20I wickets in his career thus far. However, due to the extreme competition amongst the pacer, he hasn’t made it to the national team since January 2018.

10-year-challenge or 7-year-challenge?

Raees posted a picture on Twitter and captioned it as 10-year-challenge. However, he was spotted using an iPhone 5 to take this picture. iPhone 5 model was launched by the company in November 2012 and this meant that the picture was taken only after the date mentioned. Hence, clearly, it wasn’t a 10-year old photo.

Rameez Raja Jr. was quick to spot the same and didn’t spare the opportunity to troll his mate. “Maaaani !!! iPhone 5 launch he 2012 mein hua that (Maaani, Iphone 5 was launched in 2012),” wrote Rameez in his reply to the tweet. This has become viral on the internet and Rumman Raees ended up becoming a butt of all the jokes.

However, it took the social media warriors about two weeks to spot this mistake out and get it trending on the internet. This fun banter between these two cricketers took place on 18 January 2019. Shadab Khan, Fawad Alam, Faheem Ashraf and many other Pakistani cricketers also took up this challenge and showed the world how they’ve transformed in this while.

Rumman Raees eventually deleted the tweet, here’s the screengrab:
