7) Rashid Khan (AFG)

The Afghani wrist spinner’s cricketing journey has been nothing short of a miracle. Not many players, especially from associate nations have risen up the ranks in world cricket as fast as Rashid Khan. A wrist spinner with quick action and a sharp googly, Rashid Khan is a nightmare for the batsmen.
Khan made his International debut in 2015 when he was just 17 years old. His fingers hardly change position while bowling a googly or leg break and together with his quick action, it is almost impossible for the batsman to read him while he delivers the ball. He also bowls straight stump-to-stump lines, which does not allow the batsmen to breathe or even step out and attack him.
Afghanistan made their Test debut against India in 2018 and since then Rashid is also transforming into an accurate Test spinner. He is also a major superstar in the IPL where he plays for the Sunrisers Hyderabad and is always among the best bowlers chart. Khan can end up as one of the great cricketers if he continues to play so well in the coming years. After playing for the Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 edition, where he almost single-handedly pushed his team on the verge of winning from out of nowhere on a few occasions, the willy leggie has been performing well with both bat and the ball. Currently, he is leading Afghanistan's bowling pack with an away series in Bangladesh where he has been chipping in with wickets but not as much to his own liking at this moment.
