3. Mohammad Rizwan
Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan’s struggle of making it into the national team came to an end when he received his maiden call-up in the year 2015. Being a prolific domestic player since 2008, it took him long to play international cricket, but he pushed himself by producing some valiant knocks in the domestic circuit and caught the selectors’ attention.
Since 2015, Rizwan has played 44 ODIs and 56 T20Is. Though it is not a lot as compared to the experienced international batters from other countries, he managed to play some powerful knocks and scored 2559 runs in the limited-overs format. His T20I average reads at 50.36, making him a standout player of the lot.
He made his Test debut late in the year 2016 but has been with the side regularly. Having played 22 games in the traditional format, he has notched up 1112 runs at an average of 42.77, which also includes two magnificent tons and seven half-centuries.
