7. Kusal Perera (Sri Lanka)
Kusal Perera is an attacking left-hand batter who takes the gloves while the Sri Lankan cricket team fields. He idolises the Sri Lankan legend, Sanath Jayasuriya. He made his international debut in January 2013 when Kumar Sangakkara got injured. Since then, he is a regular feature of the Sri Lankan cricket team and has won many games for them.
He has scored 5,787 runs in 189 international games that he has played. He has scored two centuries in Tests and six centuries in ODIs. SLC backs him a lot and he has proved to everyone the reasons behind the support. At times he was also approached by some IPL teams. He is one of the experienced batters in the Sri Lankan batting line-up.
He has taken 54 catches in 189 international games as a wicket-keeper and has made 17 stumpings in eight years of his international cricket career. He has great numbers in domestic cricket as well. He is a household name in Sri Lanka and everyone Sri Lankan wants him to perform and win matches for them.
