Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan was one of the biggest names to go under the draft hammer as he was snapped up by the Maratha Arabians for the upcoming edition of the T20 tournament. In fact, the T10 tournament which will once again be played in the UAE has seen some massive names be drafted into several sides. Rashid has also been subsequently named as the icon player for the side.
Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has been named the icon player of the Pakhtoons whie McCullum has been named the icon of the Rajputs. On paper, it would seem as though the Arabians have the strongest squad with the likes of Dwayne Bravo, James Faulkner, and the uncanny Rashid han. These three players are currently considered the best in the world in the shortest format at least.
Andre Russell, the Windies all-rounder who recently returned to international cricket following his ban has been named in the Northern Warriors lineup while the likes of Eoin Morgan and Kieron Pollard are in the Kerala Kings side. However, it would seem as though most of the other international players have been retained by their respective sides.
