He is one of the most sought-after properties in the shortest format of the game. His rise to the top of the bowlers’ rankings in T20Is is a big motivation for aspiring cricketers all around the world. The rise and rise of Rashid Khan has done a world of good to his countrymen as well.
It is a known fact that his country, Afghanistan, is unfortunately a severely affected state with war and terrorism. The strife-torn nation finds happiness in the sport of cricket. And players are like Rashid are making the nation proud big time. Many felt that the popularity and success get to the nose of the young cricketer. But the leggie has managed to stay grounded and humble.
Now, in a very noble initiative, he has started his own foundation to help the children in his country. His charity organization is keen on helping the orphaned children in his country get primary education. He took to the social media platforms to announce the same. He has also created a social media handle for his foundation which will keep the fans posted on the initiative that the foundation will come up with.
