The Father’s Day was celebrated worldwide and several cricketers reminisced their moments with their loved one. While the cricketers acknowledged their parent’s contribution towards their growth, they also posted quite a few pictures and videos regarding the same on the social media. The likes of David Warner, Virat Kohli, and others uploaded some heartwarming pictures.
Meanwhile, Irfan Pathan shared a unique video where his father, Mr. Mehmood Khan Pathan has been seen wielding his magic with the willow. The Indian pacer reminisced how their father used to make ‘guest appearance’ during Irfan and Yusuf’s earlier days in cricket. He took to Twitter and remembered the pleasant memories.
The 33-year old pacer wrote “He’d make guest appearances to watch us and play some cricket himself. It is all because of your upbringing and support that both @irfanpathan and I were able to achieve what we’ve achieved. Thank you Abba, Happy Father’s Day”. The same one was then shared by Yusuf.

Rashid’s illustrious career
Rashid Khan’s wily trajectory with the leather has been one of the talking points in world cricket. He has been stupendous as a cricketer and most importantly, at a tender of 19, he already has been deemed as one of the brightest talents going around in world cricket. His exploits in international cricket, especially ODIs and T20Is have been phenomenal, to say the least.
The tweaker plied his trade in the IPL for the Sunrisers Hyderabad and batsmen strained to get the measure of his wrong’un and other variations. He carried forward his form in the next series as well versus Bangladesh and emerged as the Player of the Series with 8 wickets from 3 matches. The teenager recently had the privilege to represent his team in Afghanistan’s historic Test versus India in Bangalore.
