Rashid Khan reacts on Virat Kohli's Instagram picture, Indian skipper responds

Virat Kohli posted a picture of him practicing on Instagram, and it received a response from Rashid Khan.

The Indian Test side will take on England in a grueling and hugely awaited five-match Test series on England soil. The Test series will commence on 4th August 2021, and this will be India’s first assignment in the second cycle of the World Test Championship (WTC).

And, ahead of the series, India will play a warm-up match against the County Select XI to prepare themselves for the series against England. And, Virat Kohli posted a picture of him practicing in the nets on Instagram.

The picture shows Kohli intensely focused in the nets. Kohli even captioned the picture “When you absolutely love what you do, everything just flows”. And, this post received a response from Afghanistan’s champion spinner Rashid Khan. Rashid reacted to this picture with some fire emojis. And to that, the Indian skipper responded ‘Bhaijaan’.

Virat Kohli’s India went down to the New Zealand side in the WTC Final

Virat Kohli last sported the whites for his country during the final of the World Test Championship (WTC). In the marquee clash, the New Zealand side, led by Kane Williamson beat India comfortably with 8 wickets to spare to emerge as the champions of the inaugural edition of the WTC.

Kohli scored 44 and 13 in the two innings that he played in the World Test Championship (WTC) Final. In both innings, he was dismissed by tall Kiwi pacer, Kyle Jamieson.

Virat Kohli is a legend of Indian cricket and has piled up incredible numbers in all formats of the game. The batting legend has scored 7547 runs in Tests, at an average of 52.05, and has also plundered 27 centuries and 7 double centuries as well.

In the ODI format of the game, the Indian skipper has featured in 254 matches and has scored 12169 runs at an average of close to 60. He is also the second-highest century-maker in ODI cricket and has scored 43 tons.

Kohli is also the only batsman in the world to have scored over 3000 runs in T20Is. In the 90 T20Is that he has played, the batting colossus has scored 3159 runs at an average of 52.65.
