Rashid Khan slams a monstrous 104-metre six off Ben Cutting in BBL 2019-20

Rashid Khan has widely been known as one of the most talented leg-spinners in the world ever since he made his splash in the international cricket a few years ago. And since then, he has become a hot favourite of every T20 league in the world. The Afghanistan star has played in the Indian Premier League, the Bangladesh Premier League, the Vitality T20 Blast and is currently plying his trade in the Big Bash League, playing for the Adelaide Strikers.
The match saw the BBL debut of South African magician AB de Villiers for the Brisbane Heat, who decimated their opposition quite easily. Set a target of 111 to win, Michael Neser removed Chris Lynn for a duck and Rashid Khan clean bowled Max Bryant for 10.
Then Matt Renshaw made 52* in 45 balls with 5 fours and 1 six, while De Villiers on debut made 40 runs with five fours steer Heat to the victory with seven wickets in hand in the 16th over. Meanwhile, Rashid had also played a big hand in Strikers reaching the 110-mark as well.

The only six hit by the Afghanistan batsman, made headlines all over, as he jumped out of the crease to a Ben Cutting short ball and slapped it over the mid-wicket boundary for a mammoth 104-metre six. The ball made a sweet noise on connecting with the willow and the ball soared into the sky and landed in the second tier of spectators at the Brisbane Cricket Ground.

Earlier, the Strikers batted first after winning the bat flip, but James Pattinson ran through the top order with only Jonathan Wells reaching double digits from the top five batsmen. James Pattinson picked 5/33, with four of the victims being caught by Peirson and one by AB de Villiers. Josh Lalor (2/12) and Ben Cutting (2/24) were the other wicket-takers for the Heat, as it was just Rashid Khan who went past 20 runs.
