Rashid Khan is the current sensation in world cricket. The 18-year old youngster is now an inspiration to every kid in the province. The sensational spinner is having a time of his life in the ongoing IPL. He is currently the talk of the town in the Cricket fraternity. It is not just fans who are tweeting for this youngster. Impressed by his performance, the young lad has received tweets right from former players to the Afghanistan president.

The Afghan teenage sensation’s incredible one-man show in the second eliminator against KKR helped SRH secure a place in the finals. His all-round effort gained him loads of acknowledgement. Things escalated quickly, right from being hailed by legends to several people asking the government to offer him Indian citizenship. Rashid Khan pulled out an impeccable performance as he added a quick-fire 34 runs in ten balls and also picked three wickets and turned the tables for SRH.

Seeing Rashid Khan’s impeccable performance, the Indian fans couldn’t restrict themselves from calling out to the government to offer the young lad Indian citizenship. Heavily impressed by his heroics, Indian cricket fans want him to play for India in international cricket. There were people tweeting out to the government asking to offer the sensational cricketer citizenship.

However, ACB chairman, Atif Mashal quickly responded to all the offers. He acknowledged all the offers and also hinted that Rashid Khan would prefer playing for his country. Rashid Khan did not take too long to respond to Atif’s statement. ”  I am proud Afghan and I will stay in my country and will work and fight for our nation. We spread peace and our country needs us,” Rashid Khan’s tweet read.

Winning the toss, KKR picked to bowl first. SRH began off great yet lost wickets at regular interims. With both their star batsmen – Dhawan and Williamson getting out quickly, the group was in a bad position. Be that as it may, Rashid Khan acted the hero with a flawless thump. His heroics helped his side post a par score.
