Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore occupies 3rd place in the points table at the time of IPL suspension

At the time of suspension of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side was occupying 3rd place in the points table. The ‘Men in Red’ had won 5 out of the 7 matches that they had played in the 2021 edition of the IPL, and had accumulated 10 points.

On the other hand, the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) side, was occupying 2nd place in the points table and had emerged triumphant in 5 out of the 7 matches that they had contested in the 14th edition of the cash-rich league. The top place in the points table is currently occupied by the Delhi Capitals (DC) side.
