Looking at the array of players they have, before the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League starts, the Sunrisers would be more than happy with what they have at their disposal. The players that they have managed to pick up to choose their XI from, are extremely talented and have a name for themselves in the shortest format of the sport, especially, while playing in franchise-based tournaments, like the IPL.

Right from experienced spinners like Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan to pacers like Billy Stanlake, T Natrajan and Sandeep Sharma&#8211; they have it all. Now, all their captain, David Warner, along with the coach Trevor Bayliss and VVS Laxman will have to do throughout the season is to pick out the best combination of these talented lads and make them play according to the situation and pitch conditions, in both home and away games.

The only thing that would concern them would be the absence of Bhvnseshwar Kumar from their line up possibly throughout the season, owing to an injury he picked up last year. Buhvneshwar has been an integral part of the SRH bowling line up over the years and used to be the guiding light for all the youngsters in the squad, who almost in every tense situation, sought advice from the two-time purple cap winning pacer.

The team with their base in the ‘pink city of Jaipur’ have not been in the pink of their form, since their tournament victory, way back in the first edition in 2008. After that, the Rajasthan Royals, have tried and tested all the possible combinations and experiments with their team, but have failed to form the team that could help them bring the cup back to Jaipur again.

The team that was already short on overseas bowling options, suffered another blow recently. Their leading pacer, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/england-paceman-jofra-archer-promises-to-be-back-soon/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jofra Archer</a>, who was looking promising, coming into the season, was ruled out of the tournament, due to a stress fracture. The only franchise in the entire line-up of the Indian Premier League 2020, that has not played a Final of the tournament, in spite of playing in every edition of the tournament, the Delhi Capitals, can be hailed to have one of the most uncertain groups of players in this season of the IPL. They do not have a defined bowling core, and will definitely struggle with finding replacements if any of their players, especially a bowler gets injured or gets out of form halfway through the tournament.

They do have experienced players like Ravichandran Ashwin, Amit Mishra and Ishant Sharma, with them, but still, their bowling attack seemingly lacks the competitiveness that this format of the sport demands. The team that has played three tournament finals, but hasn’t won any will be looking to win their maiden tournament in 2020, and their dream does not look un-realistic at all. With the kind of players, they have this season, things look a little loaded in their favour.

The Indian Premier League has never seen a team as successful as the Mumbai Indians. The franchise that has won 4 IPL titles, more than any other team, has over the years, emerged to become a superpower in this tournament. Every department of their looks well settled every year, and if a few kinks are present, they make sure to hammer them out. And, in the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League, their bowling attack looks really strong and settled.

Led by the lethal pair of Jasprit Bumrah and<a href="https://www.crictracker.com/lasith-malinga-ready-to-quit-captaincy-after-sri-lankas-t20i-series-failure-against-india/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Lasith Malinga</a>, every time a team will face the Mumbai Indians, the batsmen will find it difficult to score against their almost perfect bowling line-up. A team which had a terrible start in the tournament, his over the years grown to become a team that is a regular feature in the playoffs. The Kolkata Knight Riders, after lifting the trophy in 2012 and 2014 are still to repeat their best of performances and will look to give their best shot at winning the cup in the 2020 edition of the IPL. And, their preparations for this look really strong.

Having been one of the biggest spenders on the auction floor in the 2019 auction, the Kolkata team management has managed to create, what is one of the top bowling attacks of the 2020 edition of the IPL. They surprised everyone, by bringing Pat Cummins back into the team, after spending Rs. 15.5 crore on him.

But, this decision of theirs, might be one of the best they have taken thus far. After that, the Rajasthan Royals, have tried and tested all the possible combinations and experiments with their team, but have failed to form the team that could help them bring the cup back to Jaipur again.
The team that was already short on overseas bowling options, suffered another blow recently. The only franchise in the entire line-up of the Indian Premier League 2020, that has not played a Final of the tournament, in spite of playing in every edition of the tournament, the Delhi Capitals, can be hailed to have one of the most uncertain groups of players in this season of the IPL. They do not have a defined bowling core, and will definitely struggle with finding replacements if any of their players, especially a bowler gets injured or gets out of form halfway through the tournament.
