6. Mumbai Indians (8.5/10)
The Indian Premier League has never seen a team as successful as the Mumbai Indians. The franchise that has won 4 IPL titles, more than any other team, has over the years, emerged to become a superpower in this tournament. Every department of their looks well settled every year, and if a few kinks are present, they make sure to hammer them out. And, in the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League, their bowling attack looks really strong and settled.
Led by the lethal pair of Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga, every time a team will face the Mumbai Indians, the batsmen will find it difficult to score against their almost perfect bowling line-up. The spin department has in it the likes of Krunal Pandya, Jayant Yadav and Rahul Chahar while assisting the pace duo in their exploits, in the end, will be Mitchell McClenaghan and Keiron Pollard.
The only thing that they would be worried about would be the presence of Hardik Pandya in their line-up. Pandya, who had undergone a back surgery is still in the recovery stages and his ability to contribute the way he did in previous years would be very doubtful. In the yesteryears, Pandya was one of the main middle overs and death bowlers for the side and if he is not able to play the entire tournament, the team would struggle for his replacement options.
