Rating the bowling line-ups of all teams in IPL 2020
A lot has changed for the teams after the IPL has shifted to UAE due to the pandemic.
3. Delhi Capitals- 8.5/10
Like Chennai Super Kings, Delhi also has the services of many quality spinners at its disposal. During the transfer window, they got a steal deal in Ravi Ashwin from Kings XI Punjab in exchange for the relatively inexperienced Jagadeesha Suchith and some money. They already have Amit Mishra, the man with the highest number of IPL hat-tricks, Axar Patel and Lalit Yadav in their squad.
Sandeep Lamichhane from Nepal is a prodigious spinner who will again feature for the capitals this season. The pace attack will be led by Kagiso Rabada who was the second highest wicket-taker last season. Absence of Jason Roy and Chris Woakes from this season meant that DC had to look for replacements and they found quality pacers in their stead.
Daniel Sams and Anrich Nortje were signed up as replacements and will strengthen the pace attack. The Indian part of the attack will be spearheaded by the experienced Ishant Sharma, along with Mohit Sharma, Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan and Tushar Deshpande. All rounders like Marcus Stoinis and Keemo Paul are also quality bowling options who have the ability to destroy the opposition on their day.
