Rating the bowling line-ups of all teams in IPL 2020

1. Chennai Super Kings- 9.5/10

The yellow army has arguably the best bowling line-up keeping the conditions of UAE in mind. They have quality spinners who can turn around the game on their own. The Daddy’s army boasts of the highest experience in the spin department.

They have World cup winners like Harbhajan Singh and Piyush Chawla in their squad, both of them having 150 IPL wickets in their arsenal. Left-armers like Ravindra Jadeja and Mitchell Santner can prove to be effective even on flat wickets, courtesy their accurate and pinpoint bowling. Last season’s Purple cap winner Imran Tahir is expected to lead their spin attack.

The pace department of CSK is also impressive, having veterans like Dwayne Bravo and Josh Hazlewood as well as newbies like Sam Curran and Lungi Ngidi in their fold. Indian pacers Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur have performed beyond expectations in International cricket and both of them are currently in the scheme of things for national squad. Secondary bowling options like Karn Sharma, R Sai Kishore, Monu Kumar, Kedar Jadhav and KM Asif are also expected to fare well on the UAE pitches.
