Ratnakar Shetty, the head of the operations of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has been put in charge of the solitary Test match between India and Bangladesh to be played in Hyderabad. Till now, there has been a massive issue in the manner in which the state boards have responded to the ousting of the top executives of the BCCI with many of them either resigning or creating issues in the media regarding the hosting of the international matches.

The India v Bangladesh series, something that is expected to become a flagship series of sorts in the years to come is expected to kick-off a rivalry that many views as long overdue. However, the heart of the matter sees the Indian administrators in a bit of a soup given the fact that the Lodha Committee has had a massive crackdown on the grand scheme of things as well.

The encounter between India and Bangladesh has been a troubled one in recent times owing to the whole Lodha Panel issues in recent times. Moreover, the fact of the matter remains that this is also expected to be one of the setting-up of the governance system when it comes to the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA).

Earlier, there were a few reports concerning the scheduling of the match given the tight schedule of the Indian cricket team at the moment. Moreover, there was also a glitch in the finalizing of the venue given the fact that the ground may not be available due to the difference in funding and infrastructure.
