India and Pakistan are set to lock horns in the 2019 edition of the World Cup at the Old Trafford in Manchester. The Men in Blue are unbeaten versus their arch-rival in the World Cup and are expectantly the favorites to win the marquee clash. Moreover, Virat Kohli and Co are unbeaten in the tournament even as Pakistan has already lost a couple of matches.
However, the weather forecast for the encounter is a tad indifferent and there could be interruptions during match-time. Meanwhile, Ravi Ashwin, who is currently India’s Test specialist, dropped a tweet, writing that the weather condition is one of the talking points of the clash. Ashwin hasn’t played limited-overs cricket for over two years and doesn’t seem like making a comeback.
In one of the comments, a user reminded him of the Champions Trophy Final in 2017 that India lost to Pakistan by a mammoth 180 runs. Sarfaraz Ahmed’s men racked up 338 in 50 overs after which India was bowled out for 158 in 30.3 overs. The 32-year-old Ashwin had a rather off-day with the ball in hand as he gave away 70 runs in his quota of 10 overs without taking a wicket.
Fakhar Zaman, who got a century that day, was severe on the tweaker and smacked him for quite a few boundaries. Ashwin played in the tour of the West Indies in July and lost his place in the national team ever since. The Tamil Nadu-born bowler is still an integral member of the Test cricket, though he missed out on quite a bit of cricket last year due to injuries.
Meanwhile, the fan replied to Ashwin in an abusive manner and wrote, “Chutiya mat kaat…ghar pe behet aur so jaa…tere liye CT Final haar gaya tha.”

The words didn’t go down well with Ashwin by any stretch of the imagination. He bashed the user left, right and center, questioning his ethics. Ashwin replied to the supporter and wrote, “Your Engineering batch dint have an ethics paper?? “Oh sorry may be how to talk is taught at home”
