Ravi Shastri is one of the most iconic commentators who has held the microphone and graced the game. He is the voice behind many of the best moments Indian cricket has. A player who has served the Indian cricket in various ways as an allrounder Shastri is a fan favourite.

He was a fabulous player in the past and then turned a commentator post his retirement to enthral the Indian audience with his voice and then took a much bigger role as he was appointed the director of the Indian cricket team for over a year only to return back to the commentary box.

Recently this former Indian cricket turned 55 and a lot of people including Indian cricketers and his commentary partners wished him on Twitter along with his followers. On a different front Shastri has been of late trolled on social media because of his clichéd commentary style. Recently he was trolled by Virender Sehwag but the man took it in as good humour. However, Twitterati targetted the 55-year-old for a different reason on Sunday.

Shastri embarrassed for a blunder

The famous commentator bumped into Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. Ravi Shastri and Akshay both studied in the same school but in different years. The former Indian allrounder was ecstatic to meet this superstar as he posted a picture with him on Twitter.

He said that it was nice to meet a fellow “Don Boscoit” and also praised Akshay for a successful career in Bollywood. The caption read, “Great to catch up with a fellow Don Boscoite who has done wonderfully well in career as an actor @akshaykumar.”

However, there was one problem, the photo was blur and it seemed like Shastri didn’t have a look before posting it. The commentator was terribly trolled as the fans called the photo “Tracer Blurret” sarcastically taunting him. “That went like a tracer bullet” is the phrase which is overused by the commentator.

He will surely check the quality of the photo before posting from next time onwards.
