Ravichandran Ashwin, when off-field, is constantly active on social media site Twitter. Match related tweets keep coming from Ashwin and get a good fan response, sometimes good and sometimes bad.

Bangladesh squared off with Oman today at the Dharamsala to decide the last qualifier to the Super 10 stage of the World T20 from Group A.  On the occasion of the match, the ace Indian off-spinner posted a very meaningful tweet.

He wrote “Can’t wait to see the Bangladesh v Oman game. If Bangladesh win, the whole country will be happy but if Oman does Cricket will be happy”

Ashwin, as we all know, doesn’t hold himself back when it comes to giving a witty reply.

Well, as far as the results are concerned, Bangladesh seems to be comfortably heading into the Super 10 stage were the emerging Asian giant will find themselves competing against heavyweight India, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan.

A sense of rivalry among the cricket fans from India and Bangladesh has developed rapidly. There has a lot of hullabaloo being created by the Bangladeshi cricket fans in the recent past. While cricketers from the country are courteous, it is a sect of overly-enthusiastic fans who spoil the reputation of the whole cricket-crazy nation.

Most recently, A viral Photoshopped image of Taskin Ahmed holding a severed head of Indian skipper MS Dhoni had created fiery response in the social media. And, there seems to more anticipation being generated this time as both teams are set clash against in the World T20.
