Ravichandran Ashwin reveals his favourite football team during Q&A session on Twitter

Coronavirus outbreak forced Narendra Modi, the Indian Prime Minister to enforce lockdown in the country. So, cricketing activities have come down to a standstill. With no cricket, the players have found a unique way to spend their time away and they have begun interacting with the fans on the social media platform. Meanwhile, Ravichandran Ashwin, the Indian spinner has also come out giving answers to the curious questions of the fans.

At the moment, things don’t look very good and pleasing as Coronavirus has given long-lasting damage to human life. The people are stuck in their homes to slow down the rate of deaths due to the novel virus. Moreover, it will also decrease the number of new cases affected by COVID-19.

Amid the pandemic, Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin was spotted spreading awareness about the Coronavirus between the people. He also asked them to just listen and follow the guidelines given by the health officials until the situation comes under control.

Spain is Ravichandran Ashwin’s favourite football team

Recently, Ashwin set up a question & answer round with the fans. Moreover, he came out with some surprising revelations. Delhi Capitals took to their official Twitter handle and shared a clip in which the Indian spinner can be spotted giving back to back answers to the fans’ questions in one go.

One of the fans questioned Ashwin about his favourite football team. In reply to it, the Indian spinner said that he doesn’t follow English Premier League much. The 33-year-old also added that in international football he liked the Spanish team that won the Euro Cup in 2008 followed by the 2010 Fifa World Cup hosted by South Africa.

Another fan asked him about his favourite series that he is watching in the lockdown. Ashwin said that he is trying to keep his mood light. So, he is watching only standup comedy and there is nothing favourite that he can pick in that genre.

Ashwin was all set to play in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) for his new franchise Delhi Capitals after getting traded from Kings XI Punjab. But, the BCCI postponed the tournament to mid-April.
