The Twitter account of Ravichandran Ashwin came to the life following Sri Lanka’s ousting from the World T20. The defending champions seemingly conceded what seemed to be a rather regulation win for the South Africans. The Lankans were out of contention following their second match against the West Indies, where Angelo Mathew’s men lost quite badly.

A Sri Lankan fan, however, took to twitter, taunting Ravichandran Ashwin before India’s semifinal clash against the West Indies. Incidentally, this wasn’t the first time Ashwin was having a tussle with this particular Lankan fan.

Before the Australia game, the fan tweeted to Ashwin stating that he would stop watching cricket should the Indians overhaul the Aussies in what seemed to be a quarterfinal of sorts. It had seemed that the fan hadn’t learnt from his previous mistake. He once again took to twitter to taunt Ashwin saying that the latter could have a laugh but the ‘Gaylestorm’ was on its way, directly referring to the battle between Ashwin and Chris Gayle’s big hitting.

Little did he know what was to come from the twitter account of Ravichandran Ashwin.  The latter first pointed out that the fan wasn’t a man of his word as he was supposed to stop watching cricket. The fan, however, didn’t stop stating that he would watch just the following game stating that he was watching just to see how the Indians reacted to Chris Gayle’s big hitting.

The reply from Ashwin read: ‘Let the Dog catching vehicle come, I will catch you and hand you over to them. Whatever happens tomorrow, I won’t bother about it. You should have stopped watching.’ (translated from Tamil).

This is not the first time Ashwin has trolled someone on Twitter – Ravichandran Ashwin back to his Twitter banter antics
