Ravindra Jadeja retweets a tweet which asked Virender Sehwag the reason for not praising his performance
Sehwag did'nt mention the name of Ravindra Jadeja who gave a valuable contribution in India's win over South Africa.
Virender Sehwag, the former Indian cricketer was one of the most destructive opener batsmen of his time. He is regarded as one of those players that changed the concept of playing in the longer format of this game. The Delhiite used to deal in boundaries and sixes when he used to open the innings for India but after the retirement, he has given a new dimension to his own aggressive approach by diverting it to social media.
Former cricketer turned commentator Sehwag has got a voice on Twitter, and many people wait for his humorous posts. On the field, he used to dominate the bowlers but on social platforms, he is mostly dominating the people with his strong replies and opinions. But it looks like the current Test all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja looks nowhere happy with his latest post.
Sehwag congratulated India after winning the first Test against South Africa on Day 5. On the whole, Team India performed extremely well but there were some players like Rohit Sharma who got ton in his both innings, Ravichandran Ashwin who got the fifer, Mayank Agarwal registered his maiden double ton, Mohammed Shami picked another fifer in the second innings and Jadeja too had a great match with the ball as he took a total of 6 wickets.
Is Jadeja unimpressed with Sehwag
But according to Sehwag’s post, there were only five players who gave a valuable contribution to India’s win and wrote, “Fantastic test match for @ImRo45, a dream beginning to opening the batting in Test cricket. Wish him the very best. That was a convincing win for India with some great contributions from Mayank, Shami, Ashwin, Pujara.”
Here is the tweet:
This caught an eyeball of his fan who later asked the Delhiite that whether he couldn’t see the batting, bowling or fielding performances of Ravindra Jadeja. Or he slept during his performance and the major thing came into notice when Jadeja retweeted it, which shows that the Indian all-rounder didn’t look impressed with the recent social activity of his country’s legendary cricketer.
