Ravindra Jadeja has finally broken the silence and lashed out at his critics who held him responsible for Hardik Pandya’s unfortunate run-out in the Champions Trophy final. People raised their voices against the Saurashtra cricketer saying that the all-rounder should have sacrificed his wicket for Hardik Pandya.

But Jadeja has now hit back at the people holding him guilty for the incident. Speaking to Sports Café, Jadeja said “True followers of cricket, ones who understand the game, know that such things are a part of cricket.”
“It happens in the game. No one does it intentionally. Everyone wants to play for the country, everyone has their own dreams. Run-outs happen hundreds of times. I don’t think about it too much. Critics can say what they want. They change their views after every series. I don’t play for them,” he said.
Ravindra Jadeja, who is the numero uno in the ICC Test rankings for bowlers, lauded the decision to rope in Zaheer Khan as the bowling coach. The 28-year-old also pointed out that the team will benefit heavily from Zaheer Khan’s experience.
“Zaheer has a lot of experience. Our fast bowlers will definitely benefit from his presence, especially overseas, where he has so much experience,”
“The good thing is that whatever new experience is added to the team, it is good for us. Hopefully, whoever new comes in the team, they will share their experiences and we will get to learn from them.”

The promising all-rounder played a carefree inning as he smashed the Pakistani bowlers all around the park. Just as when it seemed that the lad has something big in store today he fell victim to an unlucky run-out due to a miss-communication with Ravindra Jadeja. He was left furious on getting out departed for a score of 76 runs from 43 balls. India was bundled out for a mere score of 158 runs.
