Ravindra Jadeja had a nightmare of a game yesterday. He leaked run throughout his spell and did nothing special with the bat. These are the games that really haunt you for a long time and Jadeja will be looking to get over it as soon as possible.
Jadeja bowled eight overs and gave away 67 runs at an economy rate of 8.38. To add to the misery, the man from Saurashtra went wicket-less. He is a cricketer who does not give easy runs and he was hit quite easily which showed how well Pakistani batsmen were playing.
However, Jadeja was not criticised by the fans for his bowling performance yesterday, he angered the fans for his mix-up with Hardik Pandya that got the latter run-out. Hardik was smashing the ball extremely well as he was turning up the heat at the Oval. He seemed India’s last hope and that run-out kind of broke the heart of Indian fans.
Jadeja – the villain
Hardik was hitting sixes with ease as he hit 76 runs from just 43 deliveries. He hit six sixes and four fours to get to the mark. He was undone by a silly run-out and he looked extremely upset after the dismissal. The Indian fans blamed Jadeja for not sacrificing his wicket.
Twitterati roared yesterday in support of Pandya as Jadeja was victimised for his mistake. It was a silly mistake and that ended the hopes of India. Hardik was going hammer and tongs from one end and it was looking like India still had a chance. Just when everybody got their hopes up again the unthinkable happened.
Jaddu was roasted for the same and there were a lot of memes floating on social media after that. It was a game to forget for the southpaw. Some of the veteran cricketers too thought that Jadeja should have sacrificed his wicket and came out on Twitter to show their disappointment.
Here are some of the tweets

Not what @BCCI wanted. @imjadeja involved in a mix up. Maybe he should have sacrificed himself to allow @hardikpandya7 to bat on
