Days before the start of the cash-rich league, the BCCI, on 6th September, finally rolled out the IPL 2020 schedule for all fans who’re eagerly waiting for the T20 extravaganza to commence.
Meanwhile, all IPL sides have already started training in the UAE. To keep fans happy and engaged, the social media teams of all the franchises are trying their best to share interesting clips and photos of their respective squads.

RCB and RR get involved in a hilarious banter on Twitter
However, RCB used the old blue logo of Rajasthan Royals in the video. Notably, the 4th match of the Bangalore-based franchise is against the Royals. The social media of Rajasthan Royals was quick to spot the error and they took a dig at RCB through a hilarious meme. Royals shared a ‘Simpsons’ meme where a character can be seen writing ‘I will use the correct logo of RR multiple times on a blackboard.
Twitter, in no time, was flooded with tweets over Royals’ priceless reply. However, RCB, on the very next day, had a cheeky response under their sleeve. The Bangalore franchise, on Tuesday, shared a picture of RR star wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson. Interestingly, Samson had the old blue RR logo on his helmet in that photo. “So you’re saying this is the incorrect logo?” wrote RCB to continue the hilarious conversation.
Virat Kohli and his troops are set to start their IPL 2020 campaign on September 21st against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Despite having a star-studded squad, RCB have failed to lift the IPL trophy even once in their journey. They’ll be eyeing to clinch their maiden IPL trophy this season on the UAE soil.
