Twitter showed no mercy for RCB

Things haven’t been going well for the Royal Challengers Bangalore this season. The Virat Kohli-led side has lost seven out their ten matches in the league so far and the possibility for the team to qualify for the playoff is just getting distant.
Just after yet another disappointing defeat for RCB at the hands of Rising Pune Supergiant in Pune, the PR team of the franchise made an important announcement on Twitter about their new partners. Royal Challengers declared that popular instant noodle giant Nissin would be their official partners. As a result, Twitterati showed no mercy in bashing the Bangalore-based side.
RCB tweeted by captioning,”We proudly announce Nissin Cup Noodles as Official Instant Noodle Partner of RCB. We are#HungryToWin! #PlayBold #Inspirer #Nissin”.

Here is an essential collection of some of the most epic comments:
One of the disappointed fans went on to state that this would be the only cup they would end up with this season.
@RCBTweets Unfortunately the only cup we will have at the end of #IPL

Few went ahead and commented that it an apt association for the RCB as it takes as much time to make the cup of noodles while the RCB batsmen are at the crease this season.
@RCBTweets so apt, think the noodles company impressed with ur batsmen's 2min stay at the crease after KKR match, good going #RCBvRPS

@RCBTweets That's why everyone gets out faster than it takes to make the noodle?

There were a few who wanted the players to focus on their upcoming matches rather posing for advertisement.
@RCBTweets Just win the game today. Sponsors can wait.

Few directed at the smart move by the noodles company to get associated with the franchise, citing their inability to remain at the crease.
@RCBTweets They are used to Maggie noodles now.. Getting out in 2min??? this is a bold move to try Nissin noodles they can spend more time in middle

Royal Challengers continued their abysmal performance in this season of the IPL against the Rising Pune Supergiant. They threatened to get bundled out within 20 overs for the third consecutive time as they only managed 96 runs in their innings for the loss of 9 wickets. Skipper Virat Kohli was the only man standing for the Bangalore team as he scored a 48-ball 55, with wickets falling continuously at the other end.
This performance became severely appalling especially after their horrendous reply with the bat against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens, where they were dismissed within 10 overs for 49 runs, thus, registering the lowest score ever in the history of the IPL.
@RCBTweets 49 Shame Shame Shame
