The cricketers have eventually started practicing and travelling to their franchise hometowns. Recently, Royal Challengers Bangalore shared a picture of Yuzvendra Chahal reaching Bengaluru. The cricketer is one of the three players who have reached the garden city for the preparations of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
As per the rules and regulations, all the players have to follow the SOPs for safe and smooth conduct of IPL 2020. All the cricketers including the leg spinner are confined to stay in their rooms right since the time they have landed. With nothing much to do during the quarantine, Chahal shared a humorous moment with the officials. RCB shared a video about the same on their social media account.
The leggie tried to go out of his hotel room and was stopped by the officials. He can be seen craving to go out of his room but was not able to do that as the cricketers are bound to strictly follow the self-isolation rules.
In the video, Chahal can be seen mentioning that he will go out after 4 days which means Royal Challengers are flying on 21st August. Fast bowlers Navdeep Saini and Umesh Yadav are the other two cricketers from RCB who have landed in Bengaluru.

The players will be under self-isolation for one week in UAE as well
As per the protocol set by BCCI, all the players have been tested for coronavirus before flying to Bengaluru. All three RCB cricketers have also followed the same. Captain Virat Kohli is expected to reach there in the next couple of days as well. Notably, Kohli spent his lockdown days in his Mumbai apartment.
The 13th season of IPL will be played from September 19th in UAE. Players from Chennai Super Kings and RCB are expected to fly on 21st August while other franchises will be reaching in the fourth week of August. Recently CSK also shared a few videos that included captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni along with other cricketers.
The players will undergo COVID-19 tests while being in self-isolation once they reach the UAE. They will follow strict quarantine for one week before beginning their training. The final of the cash-rich league will be played on 10th November after which the players will come back except the National players who will fly to Australia directly from UAE to play Tests and limited over series Down Under.
