Jaydev Unadkat kept RCB under pressure in the middle overs before Cameron Green's late surge was supported by cameos from Dinesh Karthik and Swapnil Singh which pushed RCB past the 200 mark. SRH were struck a powerful blown when Will Jacks removed Travis Head in the first over, but Abhishek Sharma continued hitting but fell for an aggressive thirty. Swapnil Singh conceded 19 runs off his first over but accounted for both Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen leaving SRH four down in the powerplay. Karn Sharma then took two more wickets in the middle overs, which was supported by an economical performance from Cameron Green whose two quick wickets derailed Pat Cummins who tried to give SRH hope but SRH could only finish with a 35-run loss as RCB began to turn their season around.
