Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has been enjoying gala time on the field lately with the Men in Blue whitewashing West Indies and Sri Lanka in back-to-back white-ball series. Notably, these are Rohit’s early days as full-time captain and he couldn’t have made a better start to his tenure. Meanwhile, the 34-year-old, besides his on-field achievements, is making headlines off the field as well.
The veteran opener recently became a proud owner of the Lamborghini Urus, which comes at a whopping prize of INR 3.10 crore. Coming to features of Rohit’s new toy, the luxury on wheels is painted Blu Eleos Metallic with 22 inch Nath diamond-cut rims and Sportivo Leather interior. It must be noted that Rohit has now joined an elite list of celebrities, who got their hands on this stupendous vehicle.

As per Cartoq, Rohit received the car with personalized interiors – a dual-tone combination of Ross Alala (cherry red) and Nero (black) for the cabin. While the upper layer of the dashboard and door panels is painted black, the lower parts and the seats are finished in cherry red. A 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol motor is the power source of the car. This produces a maximum power output (650 PS) and peak torque output (850 Nm).
As far as Rohit’s cricket assignments are concerned, the talismanic cricketer recently led India to a 3-0 T20I series triumph against Sri Lanka. The series also saw Rohit becoming the most successful captain in home T20Is, having taken India to 17 wins at home. The action now shifts towards the two-match Test series, which gets underway on March 4 in Mohali.
The series would mark Rohit’s first leadership assignment in Test matches and he’ll have a point to prove. Notably, Virat Kohli stepped down as Test skipper following India’s 1-2 defeat against South Africa earlier this year. Hence, Rohit is now India’s all-format skipper and expectations are incredibly high from him.
