Reports: Team India to tour Australia twice in next FTP cycle, number of Test matches increased to five
As the number of tours are increased, CA is expected to earn up to 300 million Australian dollars.
Team India might travel to Australia twice in the next Future Tours Programme (FTP) cycle from 2024 to 2032, with the number of Tests to be increase from four to five times. The full FTP is expected to be announced in later this month near the International Cricket Council (ICC) yearly meeting in Birmingham.
Both India and Australia are one of the strongest teams in the cricketing arena and both countries have been involved in some of the most memorable matches played over the years. To note, the visitors had an excellent outing in the last two tours of Australia as they went on to register memorable Test series victories.

“Seasons without Test-match visits by England or India generally mean a reduction in crowds and broadcast audiences – part of the reason why CA itself works on a multi-year financial model to balance fluctuations in the international schedule,” said the report in the leading Australian daily.
Team India has been one of the top rivals of Australia on the cricket field. As mentioned above, both countries have been involved in several exciting matches which brings out the spectators to come and watch the game as well. As the number of matches are increased, CA is expected to earn up to 300 million Australian dollars.
The visitors completed a resounding Test series victory during the last time when they toured Australia as India went on to breach Australia’s fortress and won the Gabba Test match, and also clinched the series by a margin of 2-1. At present, India is facing England in a white-ball series, while Australia is playing Sri Lanka in a two-match Test series.
