Reports: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma to tie the knot at a heritage resort in Tuscany

The much-awaited wedding of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma has finally been confirmed and they will marry in Tuscany. The celebrated duo in India will marry at a heritage property within a resort in the region in Central Italy. The speculations were rife when the Bollywood Diva Anushka was seen at Mumbai airport on Thursday night with her family. However, the fans might be relieved now as the marriage has been confirmed much to their joy.

The news of the trending couple getting married started doing rounds during the recently concluded Test series between India and Sri Lanka. The excitement of the fans notched a level higher when the captain courageous was rested for the limited overs leg against the island nation. The lovebirds are all set to marry now in the presence of very few guests only close to their family amongst which Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh are also invited.

Wedding reception in Mumbai?

According to the reports in Hindustan Times, the heritage resort in Tuscany is being decked up for the grand wedding ceremony which is likely to take place next week. It is also being claimed that the plan is to have a wedding during the day and the party will be thrown in the evening. The high-security corridor has been thrown around the resort as the entry is strictly restricted to only the guests with an invitation. A typical Punjabi wedding is on the cards with the professional bhangra dancers were seen entering the resort. The beats of drums and dhol-nagare came from the venue.

The sources claim that the Indian captain has organised a grand reception in Mumbai on December 26, two days after the third and final T20I against Sri Lanka. Many celebrities including the politicians and top personalities from corporate world have reportedly been invited to the reception.
