British wildlife adventurer Bear Grylls’ show Man vs Wild is a madly popular Discovery Channel staple which has gained quite a reputation amid the Indian audience as well. The show features Grylls tackling the wild flora and fauna in various rain forests amongst wild animals and gives tips on how to survive in the wild if stranded.
The British TV personality has recently shot quite a few episodes with celebrities including many eminent names which include Indian PM Narendra Modi as well. The duo explored the Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand. After him, South film industry megastar Rajnikanth appeared on the show with Bear and they roamed around the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka. Next after the Southern filmstar will be his Robot 2.0 co-star Akshay Kumar and two surprise names are being circulated to appear on the show as well.
Deepika Padukone and Virat Kohli are next in line on the 14-part series
Akshay Kumar and Bear Grylls shot their episode in the Rampur Elephant Camp in Mullehole forest range. The shooting went onto for three-plus hours and was captured walking in the stream inside the forest, sitting near bushes, and under a tree. The forest officials co-operated in the shooting and both Grylls and Akshay thanked them for their graceful assistance in keeping the shooting secret.
Now as per a report in The New Indian Express, one of the highest paying Indian film actress Deepika Padukone and Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli will be next in line to feature on the 14-part series. The news is yet to be confirmed, but it will definitely be an excitement for the legion of fans of both the celebrities.
Padukone is one of the most admired actresses in India and has been on top of her art with impressive performances in Padmavaat, Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and many more.
Virat Kohli, on the other hand, is gearing up to captaining his side in the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 in Australia. Before that, he is currently in New Zealand, where Men in Blue are playing a 5-match T20I series, 3-ODI series and two Test matches. In March, he will be captaining Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2020 as well.
