'Respect rules' - Rashid Khan appeals Afghanistan fans not to enter the venue without tickets ahead of India clash
Khan also urged the fans to support the organizers.
India is all set to lock horns with Afghanistan on November 03 and it will be a thing to see if India will be able to make the slightest chance to move into the next round. Ahead of the mega clash, ace spinner Rashid Khan has urged fans to not enter the stadium without tickets and respect the rules of the game. He came up with a video on his Twitter handle and urged fans to behave well on the field.
His tweet comes after it was reported that during a match between Afghanistan and Pakistan, some fans tried to enter the venue without tickets. In this manner, the fans who actually had tickets didn’t reach the venue and ICC had to later apologize for the mishap. Khan has therefore requested fans to support the organizers.
“I’m super excited about tomorrow’s AFGvIND game. I was disappointed at the scenes last weekend; we need to fly our national flag high and do our country proud. Pls respect rules & support the organizers @ICC@T20WorldCup@AbuDhabiCricket, only coming to the stadium with a ticket,” Rashid Khan tweeted.

As soon as the ticketing mismanagement happened, ICC came with an apology to all the genuine fans who couldn’t make it to the stadium even with tickets. However, they added that Dubai police tried their best to maintain the calm situation at the venue.
“More than 16,000 tickets had been issued for tonight’s game between Pakistan and Afghanistan. However, thousands of ticketless fans traveled to the venue and then attempted to force entry into the stadium. Dubai Police and security staff secured the stadium to ensure the safety of everyone inside and brought in significant additional resources to disperse the crowd and calm the situation,” ICC said in a statement earlier.
India and Afghanistan game is all set to be played in Abu Dhabi. Talking about the current scenario, Afghanistan are better placed than men in blue, who have lost both the games. India can now only qualify for the semi-final based on mathematical calculations and the results of other games.
