'Reunion all were waiting for' - Twitter relieved to see Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya hug each other

Ever since the Lucknow Super Giants picked Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya in the mega auction, the fans have been waiting eagerly for the duo to take the field together. The franchise shelled INR 8.25 crore for Krunal, while Hooda got INR 5.75 crore from LSG for the season. The reason the fans were waiting for them to play together is the alleged rift between the two players. However, they were seen hugging each other on the field much to the relief of the fans.

Deepak Hooda had accused his Baroda team-mate in January 2021 of abusing him and threatening him to end his career. The former had walked out of the bio-bubble citing the same reason and also stating that he was under a lot of mental pressure. It was also reported that the incident took place when Deepak Hooda was practicing in the nets and was getting prepared.

And that is when skipper Krunal Pandya arrived at the nets and misbehaved with his deputy Hooda. But since the duo was picked in the LSG team, there was a lot of anticipation around them playing together and it happened in the game against Gujarat Titans on March 28 (Monday).

When the two players took the field, it seemed all well between them. The duo also seen appreciating each other. Rather, both hugged each other after Deepak Hooda took a catch off Dushmantha Chameera to dismiss Shubman Gill. The moment was to savour for their fans as Twitter was flooded with the messages about the same. The video of the same also went viral soon.

Meanwhile, that wasn’t the only moment when Krunal and Hooda were at their best in terms of team spirit. The latter scored a brilliant half-century with the bat to help LSG recover from a precarious situation. When he got out, Krunal was coming out to bat and this is when they patted each other.
