India recently won Test series against South Africa and the last match of the Test series was played in Ranchi. It is also the home town of MS Dhoni who has not played a single International match after returning from World Cup 2019. There have been talks about former skipper’s retirement for a very long but it looks like it doesn’t affect Indian gloveman who was recently found spending some time with Rishabh Pant in his backyard.
After the Indian team returned from the mega-event, the Indian selectors made it very clear that they will nurture Pant as their first-choice wicketkeeper and since then Delhiite is handling the role of a gloveman for Team India. 22-year-old is also struggling with the bat and is not able to make runs for the Indian team with consistency. His rash approach has caught several eyebrows and fans have criticised him on several occasions but selectors have shown a lot of faith in Pant who is expected to be the successor of former World Cup winner.
Recently, 22-year-old came out with some beautiful pictures alongside MS Dhoni and his dog (German Shepherd). Indian youngster didn’t forget to share the beautiful moment with his fans and took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Good vibes @MS Dhoni” and attached some fascinating pictures.

On Thursday, the chief selector MSK Prasad made it very clear that they are moving on in search of young options post World Cup, “We are moving on, we are very clear. Post World Cup we have been clear. We started backing (Rishabh) Pant and wanted to see him do well. He may not have had the best of matches but we are clear, we are focusing on him only,” the chief selector told the reporters in the press conference.
He also recited that they had a chat with MS Dhoni and he is supporting selectors in their view of backing new youngsters. 38-year-old reached JSCA ground on the fourth day of the final Test against Proteas and this news went viral like wildfire. There was some expectation to the fans that he will make his comeback against Bangladesh but as the squad was announced by the selectors that rays of hope also went bleak.
