Looking at the way Yuvraj Singh played in the match against the South Africa Legends in the Road Safety World Series, it looked as if he was never away from the game. The left-hander scored a marauding 52 and scored his runs at a strike rate of 236.36 to help his side thrash the opposition by 56 runs in the Road Safety World Series.
And, what caught the eye of the world was the treatment that Yuvraj meted out to Zander De Bruyn in the 18th over of the innings. The 39-year-old decimated the right arm pacer and carted him for 4 successive sixes. Such was the magic from Yuvraj’s willow, that the crowd went crazy at Raipur.

Kevin Pietersen chided Yuvraj Singh before the commencement of RSWS
In fact, just before the commencement of the 2021 Road Safety World Series, Kevin Pietersen had chided the Indian cricketer. When Yuvraj had posed in front of some plants and posted the same on Instagram, Pietersen took a dig at the left-hander and had cheekily stated that he would have some ball fetching to do.
Both Yuvraj and Pietersen have set the stage alight in the ongoing Road Safety World Series. In the match against Bangladesh Legends, Pietersen scored 42 off just 17 deliveries. The England batting maestro followed that up by scoring a blistering 37 ball 75 in the encounter against the India Legends outfit.
As for Yuvraj, the Indian legend scored a sedate 22 against the England Legends and then went berserk in the encounter against the South Africa Legends side, scoring 52 off just 22 deliveries. Also, while Pietersen is the 4th highest run-scorer for England in T20Is and scored 1176 runs at a strike rate of over 140, Yuvraj has smashed 1177 runs in his T20I career and scored his runs at a decent average of 28.02.
