Australia finally managed to beat India in the T20 International on Tuesday but they were shocked when the rock was thrown on their bus after the match. The complete performance from the visitors saw them level the series in the newly built Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. The raucous crowd of over 38000 people were supporting India but the fans were left stunned and disappointed with their performance as Australia easily steamrolled the hosts on the day.

The security of the two teams has never been questioned by any of the players as no unfortunate incidents happened during the course of the series. Even the Test series which was fiercely competitive didn’t see any instances of the team being attacked by the crowd. However, some of the miffed fans might have tried to express their anger after a humbling defeat of their favourite team.

Aaron Finch tweeted the image of the bus

The opening batsman of Australia, Aaron Finch posted an image of the broken window on social media website Twitter and revealed the news. The rock was thrown on the team bus of the visitors and his message read, “Pretty scary having a rock thrown through the team bus window on the way back to the hotel!!” However, no injuries have been reported to the players as all of them went back safely to the hotel.

The BCCI, ICC or Cricket Australia are yet to respond to the incident. Australian captain David Warner later retweeted Finch while Glenn Maxwell liked the post. The fans should understand that in the game of cricket, one team has to lose and avoid such actions strictly. It remains to be seen if the Indian board takes any action on this unfortunate incident. The third and final T20I of the series will now be played in Hyderabad which is expected to be a cracker of a game.
