Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is an ardent follower of tennis. As a young kid, Sachin always enjoyed playing tennis. Certainly, cricket was not the only sport that he fancied. Even when he took to professional cricket, he made it a point to follow his other sport interest. Also, Sachin has been closely following the matches of tennis legend and his good friend, Roger Federer. Federer is hailed as one of the greatest players to have played the sport of tennis.

On the other hand, Sachin Tendulkar also enjoys similar fandom in the cricket world. Needless to concede why the fans went gaga over the mutual exchange the two sportstars had on the social media. Roger Federer is currently playing in the Wimbledon 2018. He is looking solid for his 9th Wimbledon title.

During his recent game against Mannarino, Federer showed off his cricketing skills by doing a forward defense to a shot. The official social media handle of the Wimbledon was quick to post the video on Twitter. They tagged the ICC to rate Federer’s forward defense. “Ratings for @rogerfederer’s forward defence, @ICC? #Wimbledon,” the tweet read.

Sachin Tendulkar was quick to see the video and he responded to it as well. He remarked that the hand-eye coordination is perfect. He went on to tag Federer in his tweet and asked him to exchange notes on the sport with him. He also cheekily hoped that Federer wins his 9th title. “As always, great hand-eye co-ordination. @rogerfederer, let’s exchange notes on cricket and tennis after you win your 9th @Wimbledon title,” Sachin Tendulkar wrote in his tweet.

Federer comes up with a cheeky message

Federer was also cheeky in his response. He remarked that he is all set to take the notes. “why wait? I’m ready to take notes! @sachin_rt,” Federer wrote in his tweet. While the two iconic celebrities had their pleasantries exchanged on the social media, the fans rightly cited it as ‘GOAT (Greatest of All Time) meets GOAT (Greatest of All Time)’.
