Rohan Gavaskar evokes a funny father-son moment on Twitter by tickling Sunil Gavaskar

The Indian fans were treated to a funny banter, where Rohan Gavaskar chided his father and batting legend Sunil Gavaskar on social media platform Twitter. Both Rohan and Sunil have represented the Indian cricket team at the international level. While Sunil Gavaskar was the first man to breach the 10,000 runs barrier in Test match cricket and retired as the highest century maker in the longest format of the game before Sachin Tendulkar went past his record, Rohan Gavaskar has represented India in 11 ODIs and scored 151 runs at an average of 18.88.

The Twitter handle of 7Cricket put out a tweet stating that Sunil Gavaskar had their ‘keys’ till stumps on the second Day of the Third Test between India and Australia, and all the fans were free to send in their queries.

That is when junior Gavaskar decided to take matters into his hands and chide his father on the social media platform in a friendly way. Replying to 7Cricket, Rohan first asked his father as to what he was doing on Twitter, and further asked the older Gavaskar whether he had managed to pick up his cherry ripe chocolates as well.

Australia-India so far

After two Tests, the series was levelled at 1-1 but it seems like the hosts are clearly dominating the Test at SCG. After posting good 338 runs on the board, they bundled out India on just 244 runs and walked up with a lead of 94 runs in the second innings. They are up with the willow again for the next innings.

The star of the Australian first innings was Steve Smith. The batting maestro notched up his 27^th Test hundred and his first in Test cricket after a gap of 15 months. Smith’s 131 allowed the Aussies to post a competitive total on the board. The Australian also added another feather to his well-adorned cap and became the second fastest batsman ever, to score 27 Test hundreds after the incomparable Sir Don Bradman. Marnus Labuschagne also chipped in with a classy 91, and was involved in a 100-run partnership with Smith for the third wicket.
