Rohit Sharma names the Indian cricketer who hates isolation period
During the live chat, Pietersen asked Rohit Sharma several questions.
The outbreak of coronavirus has led to the absence of sporting events across the globe. In these desperate times, all the cricketers and other sportspersons are staying back home and not going out. Some cricketers are having a good time at home which they usually do not get during the normal days. For instance, Rohit Sharma and Kevin Peterson who are both staying at home in self-isolation decided to have live chat on Instagram for their fans.
During the live chat, Pietersen asked Rohit Sharma several questions. In between their interaction, Pietersen also asked Rohit Sharma who he thinks would be the most cooked up guy in the Indian dressing room due to this isolation thing. What followed was an epic reply from the Indian opener to Pietersen which made the entire internet laugh.
Kevin Pietersen chats with Rohit Sharma on Instagram live
In the video, we can hear Pietersen saying, “Who do you think is hating this the most in the Indian team? cooked up in the room, not being able to move out” To this Rohit Sharma said that he thinks it would be players who are single. He said, “I think guys who are single. They must be dying to get out. All these guys were posting pictures, selfies and I can make out from all that that these guys are fried up. They wanna get out and have fun.”
Rohit also said that many of the players have cops right under their building preventing them from outside. “The worst part is some of them have cops under their building. If they come out then the cops are telling them, ‘go back, go back, don’t come out’ The cops are particularly keeping eyes on these naughty boys”, Rohit said.
Hearing this, KP couldn’t keep himself from laughing. Both the players shared a laugh. However, Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal had tuned in to watch the live and decided to drop a few funny comments. He wrote that he is the one who cooked up the most and wants to go out. Pietersen told Rohit after watching the comment,”Chahal is saying its him. He’s saying 20 days to go, he can’t wait to go out.”
To this, India’s limited-overs vice-captain responded, “I cannot even imagine what he will be going through in these 20 days.”
