Mumbai Indian didn’t enjoy a fruitful campaign in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Having won the last two editions, the Men in Blue and Gold were eyeing their sixth title. However, MI were far away from their best as they got knocked out of the league stage. Needless to mention, skipper Rohit Sharma wouldn’t have been a happy man after MI’s ouster.
The veteran batter did decently with the bat and slammed 381 runs in 13 games with his strike being close to 130. The Hitman is now gearing up for the T20 World Cup 2021 where he’ll like to take the Men in Blue to their second title. Meanwhile, the 34-year-old was the latest guest in Mumbai Indians’ ‘In That Order’ interview segment. In this fun interaction, players arrange different things in order of their preferences.
Rohit Sharma names his favourite food, movie
The clip, which spanned around two minutes and 25 seconds, showed the talismanic batter rate his favorite foods and movies in order, with the first being his most favored. Rohit Sharma features in the “Episode no.2 of 𝙄𝙣 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 From Mumbai’s scenic places to his fav dishes, Ro shares it all #OneFamily #MumbaiIndians #IPL2021 #RohitSharma @rohitsharma45,” the post was captioned.

On being asked to pick one between the three famous Maharashtrian dishes – Kotimbir Vadi, Misal Pav and Puran Poli – the dashing opener chose Vadi as his favorite. Misal Pav and Puran Poli were next in the order. While Aamir Khan-starrer Lagaan was picked as Rohit’s favourite movie, Chak De! India and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag were next in the order.
Meanwhile, expectations are high from Rohit Sharma in the upcoming T20 World Cup. After all, he’s the only batter to have four T20I centuries under his belt. Moreover, he’s also the only active Indian player to have featured in all six previous editions of the T20 World Cup. Hence, his experience and words or wisdom are expected to help the Virat Kohli-led side.
As far as his numbers in the global event are concerned, Rohit has slammed 673 runs in 28 T20 World Cup matches at an average of 39.58. He is the second leading run-getter for India in the tournament after captain Virat Kohli (777).
