Rohit Sharma trolled for hiding his stomach in Virat Kohli’s group photo

Rohit Sharma had a superlative time in the 2019 World Cup where he notched as many as five centuries. The number of tons was the most by any batsman in a single edition of the mega event. The right-hander was at his very best, but he failed to deliver in the all-important semi-final versus New Zealand. Rohit could only manage a single at the Old Trafford and India lost by 18 runs.

Thereafter, he played the T20I and ODI series against the Windies. He scored one half-century in the 20-over format, but couldn’t quite make much of an impact in the rest of the games. The Mumbai batsman is now set to take part in the two-match Test series against Jason Holder and Co. The opening Test is set to get underway on August 22 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.

Rohit hasn’t been a regular part of red-ball cricket in national colours and he’ll be looking to prove a point. His Test numbers are exceptional at home, but a bit disappointing in trying overseas conditions. Rohit last played in the Test series versus Australia. In the meantime, prior to locking horns with Jason Holder and Co, Rohit is having some great fun in order to stay calm and relaxed.

Apart from his prowess on the field, Rohit has also made the headlines due to his rift speculations along with Virat Kohli, the all-format Indian skipper. Reportedly, Rohit has unfollowed both Kohli and Anushka Sharma, the latter’s better-half, on Instagram and the development has added fuel to fire.

The chaos and commotion would’ve stressed Rohit out a wee bit. Virat has rubbished all the rumours though. Recently, Rohit enjoyed at the Jolly beach along with his teammates, including Jasprit Bumrah and others. Kohli posted a picture where they can be seen in a pool with smiles.

But a few of the people on social media have somehow found a way to take a funny dig at Rohit. He was seen standing behind Ajinkya Rahane and people thought that he was hiding his belly. Subsequently, he had to face some trolls on Twitter.
