The stand-in skipper who has enjoyed great success leading his team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where Mumbai Indians have won three titles spoke about his current role.

“Since I am leading the side for the first time, there was pressure and there will be pressure when we play next match in Mumbai. I don’t know when will I captain the side again, so every minute spent on ground is important for me,” Rohit said.

He lost his first game as the leader when India were defeated in Dharamsala in the first One-Day International. He also spoke about his experience after the game. “There is lot of pressure, especially after first match in Dharamsala. We were in such a position that we were on the verge of getting all out on our lowest score,” the opening batsman added.
